Head Coach | Dan Bouganim

Coach Dan started playing youth travel hockey and continued through high school in Marlborough, MA. After graduating from UMass, he realized how much he missed hockey and began
volunteering at a "learn to play" clinic in Yonkers, NY.  Soon after, he started coaching recreational hockey, followed by 10 years at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY.

During that time he also coached Tier 1 travel for 3 years for the Westchester Express.  After taking a few years off and relocating to Florida, Dan got back into coaching and this will be his 5th year with the Hawks.

Dan's use of innovative team systems and individual player video analysis have yielded excellent results. This includes 1 SAHOF Championship as a head coach and one as an assistant in just 4 seasons. Dan also lead the way in the creation of the Hawks player/systems handbook and assists other coaches in our program with video analysis.

"As a coach my goal to provide all my players, and the team as a whole, with the best possible overall hockey experience every year.  Encouraging each player to work hard, contribute to the team
effort, become a student of the game and represent themselves, the team and the organization with a high level of sportsmanship and professionalism"
